Carvoeiro Algarve

A little further to the west is the popular town of Carvoeiro Algarve. A wonderful village that attracts many holidaymakers and winter visitors. Originally a fishing village with many small fishing boats on the beach. And with a multitude of nice little restaurants and shops. There are discos for the youngsters. And the Splash and Slide water park in neighbouring Estombar is also an experience for them. Praia do Carvoeiro is very proud not to have high flats and towering buildings. As in Albufeira or Armacao de Pera. This guarantees a friendly appearance. And makes it ideal for renting an apartment with swimming pool.

The beaches Praia do Carvoeiro, Praia Centianes, Praia do Carvalho and Praia de Benagil are great beaches. These are finely enclosed between the imposing yellow rocks. And with a boat trip, you can admire the caves from the sea. For golf enthusiasts Carvoeiro has three highly sought-after courts; Vale da Pinto, Gramacho and Vale do Milho. All are Pestana  golfcourts. One of the many good hotels in the region is the Tivoli Almansor in Carvoeiro Algarve with its Sky Bar overlooking the Ocean. Highly recommended for conferences is this hotel in the Algarve. And, have you ever seen and been on a beautiful wooden boardwalk that leads you along the coast all the way to Carvoeiro village centre with the sandy beach? A must!
